Mortgage repayment calculator
See what a mortgage could cost each month on a repayment or interest-only basis, and how a higher rate would change it.
How this works
- Capital & interest payments are worked out as a standard monthly repayment over the full term at the rate you enter. Interest-only shows the interest each month — the loan itself still has to be repaid at the end.
- Real deals usually have an initial rate for a few years, then move to the lender's variable rate, so payments will change over time.
- Fees aren't included. Some can be added to the loan, which means paying interest on them.
These results are estimates for illustration only, based on the figures you enter and the assumptions shown. They are not a mortgage offer or personal advice, and what lenders will offer depends on your circumstances.
